The ideal candidate will have experience working in a salvage yard or similar environment and be comfortable working in all weather conditions.
Responsibilities:
Assist with general labor duties such as cleaning up debris and maintaining a clean work environment Process vehicles for salvage by removing parts and preparing them for recycling Work as part of the auto crush crew to dismantle and crush vehicles Sort and separate non ferrous metals for recycling Operate equipment such as forklifts and skid steers Follow all safety procedures and guidelines Requirements:
Previous experience as a salvage yard laborer or general laborer Ability to work in all weather conditions Experience operating equipment such as forklifts and skid steers Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment
