The ideal candidate has experience across disciplines, including some combination of strategic communications, visual design, and data.
Experience in fundraising, event planning, and philanthropy is a plus.

org/careers Essential Job Functions Develop, write, edit, and implement branding materials, including advertisements, brochures, presentations, etc.
Write and publish newsletters and annual reports (print and digital) and website content, producing content that brings positive publicity and new exposure to the Foundation Manage and monitor social media platforms including content creation, publishing and advertising Coordinate and implement media relations activities, including developing story ideas, creating and submitting press materials, tracking coverage, and maintaining relationships with media representatives Monitor and improve the Foundation's digital footprint by capturing communications performance metrics such as website visits, SEO data, event attendance, digital campaigns, etc.
Capture and edit photography and video documenting the Foundation's impact, including grant-supported programs and initiatives and scholarship recipients Manage ongoing analysis of the Foundation's marketing materials and ensure communications reflect a consistent design that adheres to our brand guide Plan and coordinate implementation of events, including donor engagement, nonprofit convenings, and Michiana Estate Planning Council education/networking events Perform other duties as assigned by the President Preferred Skills and Experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent in journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field of study required At least five years of experience in a communications, marketing or fundraising role Demonstrated excellence in writing, proofreading, and editing Proficient computer skills with applications including Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite required.
Database experience a plus.
Specific familiarity with bulk email software such as MailChimp a plus Proficiency with email marketing, social media, website management, and visual design Media relations and public relations experience preferred Ability to develop plans, set priorities, and manage projects and initiatives Excellent attention to detail and follow-through Ability to thrive within a team environment JOB PROFILE:
The Foundation is seeking a talented, mission-driven, full-time (40 hours a week) Communications Director.
Salary commensurate with experience.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
