As part of our ongoing dedication to comprehensive patient care, Centers for Pain Control expanded its services to include treatment of vein disease in the legs including varicose veins, spider veins, restless leg syndrome and more! Job Summary The Pain Nurse Practitioner will be primarily responsible for the following services:
help see pain management patients for routine follow-ups, evaluate and screen patients for other medical services they may need, evaluate patients post-operatively and monitor progress after surgery.
Job Requirements Functions independently to perform age appropriate history and physical exams Orders and interprets diagnostic and therapeutic tests Prescribe appropriate medications, and non-medication treatment modalities Monitors effectiveness of interventions Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members, Ability to establish treatment priorities Adheres to the process and structure of standards of care Qualifications Degree from accredited nursing program and nurse practitioner program Minimum 1 year nursing experience Surgical, Critical Care, or Same Day Surgery experience preferred Current RN license and APRN license ACLS, BLS, CPR certification IV certification preferred Infection Control Training Completion The job will require travel and support at our locations, as needed.
Hours are Monday through Friday 8 a.
m.
