Purpose of the Position: To act as on site Ramp Agent ensuring smooth operations in all aspects of the operation. This includes safety, staffing, trucks and support equipment and airline/airport compliance for the assigned work area. This position will oversee daily operations as well as provide leadership and coaching to peers to increase safety, performance and customer service. Employee must maintain compliance with all local, state and federal rules and regulations.
Requirements of the Position: Providing and maintaining outstanding customer service while enforcing safety rules in the workplace and proper equipment use by all levels of employees. Valid driver's license, knowledge of regulatory and airline policies, warehouse procedures, operating station equipment, and aircraft handling procedures. Good time management, basic accounting, intermediate level of computer skills and a high level of interpersonal skills are also required.
