Part Time A/P Clerk

Our client, located in South Bend, is looking for a Part-time A/P Clerk.

In this position, the A/P Clerk will be matching invoices, purchase orders and packaging slips. This person needs to be able to communicate with others when there are discrepancies (plant representatives, purchasing dept., sales, etc.)

Experience & Skills Required:

Someone who isn't afraid to ask questions if something doesn't seem right
AS400 is a HUGE plus but not required
Excel, strong skills, but not expert. This will be used a lot.
Very detail oriented

This position will be around 20 hours a week, normal office hours are 7:30-4:30, but are flexible on days and hours. There may be an occasional weeks over 20 hours during training, but not expected to be often.

Possibility to become permanent; however, at this time it is being considered long term, open ended temporary.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
