Warehouse/Logistics Assistant
Carbon's Golden Malted Pancake & Waffle Flour is hiring a Warehouse Assistant at our South Bend, IN shop. Primary responsibilities will include manually or mechanically loading and unloading materials from pallets, skids, platforms, or other transport vehicles.
Additional responsibilities will include;
o Periodically driving a box truck to transport materials to local vendors
o Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations
o Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock and investigate discrepancies and adjust errors
o Receive, store, move and pack outgoing materials, equipment and other items from warehouse
Qualified individuals will have a positive attitude, be a team player and have some mechanical skills. Attention to detail, reliability, ability to pass a DOT physical and obtain a Chauffeurs License required. Manual truck, forklift and pallet jack experience a plus. Drug screen and background check along with the ability to routinely lift 50# and stand for long periods of time required.
This is a full-time, first-shift position with medical, dental, life, paid time off and 401k benefits.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
