Industrial Sales Representative
Outside sales person required to develop applications in new and existng accounts for an industrial distributor in Northern Indiana. The industries that we service are production shops, job shops, mold and die builders, and all industries that are in the metal cutting field. The primary products tht we provide for our customers are cutting tools, inspection tools, coolants and lubrication, manufacturing supplies, manual and CNC equipment and accessories.
Key Performance Area
Identify, develop, and monitor sales in a specific territory.
Make regular sales calls.
Technically support our products and have the ability to communicate application and key benefits of our products to the customer.
Generate quote requests and maintain a log of open quotes. Follow up to close sales.
Assist as required in settling of issues related to assigned accounts. This may include credit or quality issues.
Your Profile
Minimum 3 years industrial sales experience with an emphasis in metal cutting tools.
Knowledge of manual and CNC machines.
Good understanding of metal cutting practices and processes.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Basic computer skills
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
