LTI Services is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk for a leading manufacturer of steel boxes and covers, as well as a complete line of nonmetallic boxes and covers, metallic and nonmetallic electrical fitting and floor boxes in South Bend. This company is an international manufacturer of quality electrical and electronic products for a broad range of non-residential and residential construction, industrial and utility applications and operates manufacturing facilities in the United States, Canada, Switzerland, Puerto Rico, Mexico, the People's Republic of China (China), Italy, the United Kingdom, Brazil and Australia. They also participate in joint ventures in Taiwan and Hong Kong, and maintains sales offices in Singapore, China, India, Mexico, South Korea, and countries in the Middle East.
Responsibilities:
Perform all aspects of accounts payable in an accurate and timely manner. Also keep accurate records of all vendor invoice payments.
Process all incoming invoices and verify appropriate approvals
Interact with purchasing and inventory control to resolve billing discrepancies
Ensure prompt payment of all vendor invoices
Issue manual checks
Initiate documents for electronic payments (Wire, ACH, etc.)
Respond to vendor inquiries to resolve discrepancies and take proper action on past due billings
Assist in review and maintenance of GR/IR
Perform other duties assigned
Requirements:
1-3 years' Oracle AP experience
High school diploma and some college level accounting courses preferred
4
years' experience in automated accounting systems/accounts payable required
Proficient in intermediate Excel and good computer skills
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy required
Ability to work in a face-paced, multi-facility environment required
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage time effectively
General understanding of reconciliation and other accounting processes required
Ability to pass Hair Follicle Drug Screen
Ability to pass Background Check

This is a salaried position, starting at $35k/year.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
